Franck GOUPIL is a French electronic music producer, based in Paris. In 1988, he discovered Acid house and early New-beat stuffs, and hanged around the party's at the Boy and Rex clubs (Paris) in 1990. Interested in all kinds of electronic music styles, he started to work in the famous Laurent Garnier's record shop, USA Imports (Parisian division) in 1991, where he could explore soundscapes and new electronic sounds from different countries. Laurent Garnier's Wake up party at the Rex Club was a revelation! He decided to compose his own first demos on, in parallel of djaying in radios and clubs in Paris.
Later, he produced some tracks for Laurent Garnier's & Eric Morand's label F Communications under the Chaotik Ramses name with Chris Honorat.
This collaboration boosted Franck's creative instinct to develop his own project, Flood Veyor.
After the meeting of Laurent Boudic (X2 Proton/Genetik System etc..), Franck joined Gencom in 1998, and improved his skills in making remixes for other Gencom members (Xgroov!).
Since 2001, Franck works on his own project Flood Veyor, his most personal project and an attempt to a different approach of electronics, combining deep intimate atmospheres to "technoïd" and electronic sounds.
Now, he's turned his works on sound designing projects and composing movie soundtracks with graphic designers and 3d animation guys.
